CO-FOUNDER, PARKINGSPOTS.COM Director of Strategy and Insights, Capital C Born into a family in the business of flying, Aynsley Deluce reveals that they were “more at home in the sky than on the ground.” As a result, it was only natural that Deluce studied International Development in university, “having lived, traveled, and studied in so many of the countries the program focused on.” Her upbringing also cultivated an entrepreneurial spirit, facilitated by a passionate, adventurous, and optimistic disposition. However, it was curiosity and a refusal to “accept all that was told to [her] without a few solid rounds of questioning” that truly opened her up to the world. Her life began “a series of turning points,” she ended up at a company “totally unrelated to [her] studies.” As she sees it: “What it did do was awaken in me the knowledge that I actually didn’t know much at all.” Since then, she has become the Director of Strategy and Insights for Capital C., a marketing activation agency. With her husband, she has also created parkingspots.com, a website designed to alleviate the frustration of finding affordable, convenient parking. Things are soaring indeed.

And, yet they sell and even end up as bestsellers.” she laughs. Believing that “a lot of the adversity has to do with [her] being a woman,” Eckler stands by her writing, stating, “It’s my style, love it or hate it, that’s the way I write.”
