Liner is kind of a big deal this season. It isn’t the easiest thing to master when it comes to makeup application, but with a little practise, it is possible. However, it is important to keep in mind that looks can vary from person to person based on the shape of your eyes.
Here are a few tips to maximize your look:
Smaller Eyes - keep the line thin and close to the lashes.
Bigger Eyes - draw on a thicker line.
Deep-set Eyes - try a shade other than black or brown to brighten your eye area.
Almond Eyes - extend the line to a subtle wing at each end.
Hooded Eyes - always choose a waterproof formula; keep liner close to the roots of the lashes; once applied, keep looking down until the liner is completely dry to avoid smudging.
Wide-set Eyes - start lining the eyes a bit thicker on the inside corners and then thin the line as you work your way towards the end.
Close-set Eyes - Start the line slightly past the midpoint of the upper lids; work outward and wing out at the ends.
I recommend Lancome Artliner Precision Point Eyeliner; it comes in seven great shades. For a waterproof option, I recommend Stila Liquid Eye Liner. If you prefer gel liner, try Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner.
