Have you ever walked into MAC in hopes of finding the perfect lipgloss and been overwhelmed by the amount of choice? Lipglass, Plushglass, Cremesheen Glass, Lustreglass or Lipgelée?! I’m going to do a few helpful posts to help you decide what’s right for you when it comes to choosing your make-up products.
Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know before you make that life-altering decision - which lipgloss to wear.
MAC Lipglass makes the lips shine like glass. This highly concentrated formula requires only a tiny bead to completely cover your lips. MAC Tinted Lipglass shades combine sheer colour with a glass-like shine.
Lipgelée is an ultra-sheer gloss that provides subtle colour with a glistening finish. Lipgelée is packaged in a convenient squeeze tube with a slant-tip applicator for quick, easy application.
Lustreglass is a fusion of lustre and the Lipglass formula. It creates a beautiful pearlized glaze on the lips with a soft, sparkle finish. It is lightweight and can be worn alone or over lipstick.
Plushglass sheer lipgloss is designed to create the appearance of fuller lips. It contains a blend of ingredients to cool and gently warm the lips at the same time, letting you know the formula is at work.
Cremesheen Glass provides sheer colour with a soft shine and creamy finish. It hydrates the lips and is applied with the doe-foot applicator.
Now on to the fabulous finishes....
Cream finish: no shimmer, just a smooth glossy finish.
Frost finish: gives a soft, shimmery sparkle.
Glitter finish: has a multi-coloured glitter effect.
Crystallina finish: a pearl-like shimmer.
