So... I did not expect that from Adam Lambert.
I was a total fan of his since his time on American Idol because of his amazing voice and ability to make any song his own, but now he's making a totally different impression on people.
For those of you who did not catch the AMA's, Adam's performance basically consisted of outrageous moves such as rubbing a guys face in his crotch, and kissing a male member of his band. Afterward when he was questioned about it he said that if it's ok for women to do it, why can't he?
I understand where he's coming from but it still doesn't make it okay. When Madonna kissed Britney Spears and Christina Aguilara it was referred to as "hot" yet when Adam did it it's unquestionably immoral. In my point of view, doing anything of the sort no matter what gender on a live international show is not okay. And I feel really bad for the poor soul who had to have his face smushed into Adam's crotch. Surprisingly though on a pole posted on etalk.com 54% of people voted that the performance was not offensive, in fact it was great entertainment.
Besides the disturbing "dance" moves, I sort of liked Adam's song.
Good for Adam for sticking up for something he believes in, and for being proud of being a gay man, but I don't think displaying it like that is exactly the way to go.

I feel disturbed and smothered by your judgmental choice of words, much the same way that you felt when Adam rubbed his crotch on the "poor soul"'s face.
Thanks for sharing with us your very own unique point of view and unquestionable morality.
