Alumnae Theatre - music video

I’d be hard-pressed to think of a theatre that has a theme song for its 2010-11 season – let alone a music video. Well my friends, with the talented help of actor/songwriter/performer Kat Leonard and Alum Technical Director (and, in this case, video director) Stacy Halloran, Alumnae Theatre Company has done just that.

Written and performed by Kat Leonard, the song features Alumnae’s program for the 2010-11 season, which kicks off later this month: You Are Here (by Daniel MacIvor, directed by Paul Hardy), Hedda Gabler (by Henrik Ibsen, adapted by Judith Thompson, directed by Jane Carnwath), The Real Inspector Hound and After Magritte (by Tom Stoppard, directed by Barbara Larose and Ellen Green), the 2011 New Ideas Festival (various) and GuineaPigging (by Catherine Frid, directed by Molly Thom). The video was shot at Alumnae Theatre, by Leonard’s husband Rod Pizzaro and includes an all-member cast.
