FALLing for new books!

I thought it would be time to get you in the mood for Fall reading by telling you about some of the great new books available for September and beyond, that of course are available one month early online, at eHarlequin.com!

Historical author Michelle Willingham is celebrated for writing beautifully detailed, captivating stories. Stories that draw you back in time, making you feel as though you are truly there and she doesn't disappoint in her new September Harlequin Historical, Surrender to an Irish Warrior...and oh, THAT cover, which I happen to know Michelle loves as much as we do! This is the last book in the Macegan Brothers series and Michelle says that "This was one of the most challenging books I’ve ever written, but I believe deeply in this story." Don't miss our featured discussion starting August 23rd with Michelle to ask her why, or the chance to read her related online read, Voyage of an Irish Warrior.

Read an excerpt of Surrender to an Irish Warrior featuring bard and storyteller Trahern MacEgan.

Harlequin Romance author Margaret Way introduces The Rylance Dynasty about the lives and love of Australia's most powerful family. This month meet Corin Rylance. Super-handsome, super-rich, he’s…Australia's Most Eligible Bachelor, and he’s got his eye on ordinary girl Miranda Thornton! With well over one hundred books to her credit, Margaret delights in bringing her native Australia alive for her readers; its people, way of life, environment, flora and fauna. Her efforts so far have not excited official recognition, but she expects one day she will be awarded the "Order of Australia." We hope so too!

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Brenda Jackson brings you another seductive Westmoreland tale with What A Westmoreland Wants, Silhouette Desire's new September 2010 Man of the Month. Brenda says "When I first introduced Callum Austell in Hot Westmoreland Nights, I knew he would be a man to die for; a man who would know what he wanted and would do whatever it took to get it. I left no doubt in anyone’s mind that Callum wanted Gemma Westmoreland, and in this very special story he plans to get what he wants." Pardon me while I just swoon a little here....LOVE that Stetson on the bedpost!

We have another New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Kathleen Eagle contributing to our To-Be-Read pile this month with Once a Father, a story about neighbors becoming friends, friends becoming lovers, and families built on love. Kathleen confesses that the animal she associates with romance is the horse and states "...whether he’s a knight in shining armor or a cowboy in well-worn blue jeans, my heroes ride horses. It’s no surprise that I fell in love with my own Indian cowboy during a summer filled with horseback rides across miles of rolling prairie." Set under the South Dakota sky, she invites you to join her in a place where wildness reigns and love conquers all.

ARE Angels the new Vampires? Discover for yourself as Harlequin Nocturne brings you an all-new miniseries about fallen angels caught between darkness and light with Book ONE, Renegade Angel by debut Nocturne author, Kendra Leigh Castle."I’ve always loved the idea of angels, especially the ornery, sword-carrying kind." says Kendra, "This is probably partially because I was once a Catholic schoolgirl with a very active imagination, and partially because my own life has been full of wonderful, unconventional, and yes, even ornery angels." Kendra is visiting us this week in the eHarlequin.com Community so we can ask her about some of these ornery angels and celebrate the release of her first Nocturne.

Until then, Happy Reading,

Jayne
