Looking for a shoe a little bit outside of the ordinary?

Yesterday I had the opportunity to work with some absolutely incredible Canadian-based fashion designers at a photoshoot that I styled at the Liberty Grand.

Among these designers, Evan Biddell, Pat McDonagh, Reva Mivasagar, Jessica Biffi, Lucian Matis, Monika Peczeli...but I must say the one addition to this story that kept everything 'simply grounded' was a shoe designer by the name of Colin Campbell.

An artist with an extraordinary sense of vision and design, he is a quiet force in Canadian fashion.

He graduated fashion school in London, England and is now right here in Toronto preparing made-to-order pieces for clients...and people like myself who are sick of Town Shoes and Steve Madden (grin) ..and are dying to photograph something different.

I may have been a little bit nervous being solely responsible for the model's appearance (minus hair and make-up of course!), but i must say, having a couple pairs of Colin Campbell around...all of my worries were out the door!
