Do you remember the last time you cleaned your barbecue?
If you think it’s an unnecessary step, consider that a clean barbecue will heat up sooner and will last longer. Not to mention the fact that mould can grow on the grill of an unclean barbecue.
“A barbecue is an investment. Treat it that way,” says Jack Bruner, owner of Well Done BBQs.
He started the business at 18 with the help of a government grant. Like many people, prior to its conception he had no idea barbecue cleaning was a service. But once he came up with the idea for the service, a company was born, and the growth of said company has surpassed all expectations.
One of the reasons for his success? Customer satisfaction. By keeping the business small, Jack can ensure that customers reach him or his business partner.
“Call Well Done BBQs and speak with me directly,” he promises.
How does the process work?
The team of cleaners will arrive at your house. If you are unable to be at home, they can still do the job, they just need access to the barbecue, water and electricity.
The process takes “roughly two hours.” Cleaners will remove the barbecue grills, flavour waves and hood, spray them with degreaser and then clean them off.
And if you’re queasy about chemicals, they can arrange for a chemical-free cleaning.
Although they specialize in cleaning, Well Done BBQs also provide repair services and instruction on how to use your barbecue. They also have a gas technician to help with issues.
Given the level of success of the company, the age of the owners and workers might come as a shock. But don’t let the youthful look dissuade you. “We’re young but experienced,” Jack says.
Canadian summer is made for cooking outdoors, and Well Done BBQs can help you ensure your barbecue is performing at its best. This fantastic idea for a company is ensuring that people across the GTA can finally cook their food on clean grills.
