Lara Tavares

Lara created Sky's the Limit in January, 2004 after 10 years of working in the graphic design and web development industries. This initiative resulted from several years of research on the best practices of effective programs to support the academic success of youth in Canada. Lara has volunteered extensively for several charitable organizations and has a comprehensive knowledge of day-to-day operations in the nonprofit sector. Sky's the Limit Youth Organization is dedicated to addressing the widening digital divide in Canada by providing students with access to the tools and resources they need to pursue the infinite opportunities and possibilities available to them.
